About
Cozy, shoes-off hideaway cafe in Seokchon styled like a warm cave, serving specialty pour-over coffee, whisky, and late-night snacks.
Tucked away on the third floor across from the Songpa Women’s Cultural Center, Our’s Cave is a quiet hideaway just a short walk from Seokchon Station. Stepping past its dark teal door requires slipping off street shoes in favor of slippers or socks, instantly setting the tone of a cozy residential retreat. True to its cave-like moniker, the dimly lit room feels insulated from the city, framed by warm lighting, plush seating, generous wooden tables, and an endearing assortment of plushies and small objects. The café’s quiet, intimate arrangement naturally suits low-key dates, introductory meetups, or solo visits away from the bustle of franchise chains. Overseen by a detail-oriented owner affectionately referred to as the Bear Boss, the space operates with a neighborly warmth, occasionally hosting pop-up takeovers by budding baristas alongside Friday evening pizza gatherings. Carefully brewed specialty coffee anchors the daytime experience. Single-origin pour-overs, such as a crisp iced Real Bean Kenya with clean, refreshing acidity, are prepared with deliberate precision, alongside decaf alternatives and a fizzy espresso sparkling that balances dense espresso against effervescent carbonation. Seasonal fruit ades round out the softer side of the drink menu. For savory bites, bowls of myeongran mayo bibimmyeon combine salty pollock roe and rich mayonnaise over chilled noodles. Because Our’s Cave stays open until 11 p.m. most nights, the space fluidly transitions into a late-hour lounge. The counter houses an extensive collection of spirits, pouring pours of whiskeys like Town Branch Maple Stout Barrel bourbon alongside snacks when the sun goes down. Given its low-profile entrance and unhurried pacing, reserving a spot through Naver is the easiest way to secure a seat, while drivers can park across the street at the Songpa Women’s Cultural Center lot.
